ARIS Connect Portal Configuration (742-70E)

This training enables people with technical skills to customize the look and feel of an ARIS Connect web portal. The portal of an ARIS Connect server can be customized by adapting the XML file-based configuration. This is a big advantage over programming-based approaches of other products. The course starts with lean examples and basic information about concepts, upgrade behavior, tooling and best practices.

Objectives:At the end of this course, you will be able to:
  • adapt the look and feel of your ARIS Connect portal, by.
  • creating / adapting an XML-based configuration set of ARIS Connect.
  • modifying the active configuration set via Self-Service Configuration.

Prerequisite:
  • Advanced knowledge of web technologies: XML, HTML, CSS. (mandatory)
  • Advanced knowledge of ARIS method: Inter-dependencies of model types, object types, etc. (mandatory)
  • Advanced file handling skills of Windows operating system: handling many files in several folder trees. (recommended)
  • Knowledge of ARIS architecture. (optional)
